ASRK Container Kits
ASRK 24 - The Air Sea Rescue Kit (ASRK) 24 is a five bag drop kit designed to drop rescue rafts and survival items from C-130 aircraft to 24 people in the water. Bags 1, 3, and 5 are 8 man raft containers designed to accommodate Air Cruisers 8 man raft or similar. Bags 2 and 4 consist of squid harnesses, inner, and outer survival item bags that can accommodate sea survival equipment for up to 24 people. Bags 1 through 4 have line stowage flaps on one end that accommodate 250 ft of polypropylene line connectable to other kit bags in succession to provide 1000 feet of total spread line covering a large target area.
The ASRK 16 is a three bag drop kit designed to drop rescue rafts and survival items from CASA aircraft or similar to 16 people in the water. Bags 1 and 3 are 8 man raft containers designed to accommodate Air Cruisers 8 man raft or similar. Bag 2 can accommodate sea survival equipment for up to 16 people. Bags 1 and 2 have line stowage flaps on one end that accommodate 300 feet of polypropylene line connectable to other kit bags in succession to provide 600 feet of total spread line.
NOTE: Red kits are for Search and Rescue use. Yellow kits are for practice drops and training.
